Spanish Old Master Drawings

DELAMANO has become a reference for Old Master drawings within the Spanish art market. Each year, the gallery presents a wide range of Spanish Old Masters and 19th-century artists. It has been a common assumption within art historical practice that these drawings were exclusively created as preparatory sketches for final compositions. During these past few years, through the gallery’s active participation in fairs and thorough research, DELAMANO has aimed to challenge this traditional art-historical opinion, to reveal the true brilliance of Spanish Old Master drawings.
